We all agree. Our health care system is broken. It is not providing the quality we all want. And it is unaffordable for far too many Americans.

Enough is enough.

We can do better. Together we can make affordable, quality health care a reality for all.

How? By listening to what the American public really wants. We need to be trained and become skilled at beginning the health dialogue where the public is in their thinking, not where we wish they were. Then we need to help the public expand their thinking on these issues through values-based messaging rather than shutting them down with fear based facts or overly detailed policy discussions.

Herndon Alliance partners are doing just that.

By submitting this form organizations and individuals commit to be a partner in the Herndon Alliance. The Alliance is a coalition of organizations and individuals who have as a goal affordable health care for all people in America. Good work is being done by many organizations throughout the country. It is the intent of the Alliance to partner with participating organizations, avoid duplication of the work of others, and supplement the effectiveness of all partners by identifying gaps and supporting partners to fill those gaps. Our strategy is to work together through and by:

1. Coordination
2. Values Assessment
3. Use of Strategic Initiatives
4. Framing
5. Communications

Partners have access to the American Environics and Lake Research Partners research as well as Alliance communications resources on the website (see Partners portal on the home page).

Partner Commitment:

A partner, whether organization or individual, is supportive of the values statement and work plan above and:

1. Selects the Coordinating Committee that will guide the work of the Alliance. (unless you are an individual partner)
2. Provides input into the work of the Alliance.
3. Considers the messaging and initiatives identified by the Herndon Alliance for the use by member's organization.

Partners are subject to approval by the Herndon Alliance Board of Directors.
